Europe Trip - We have lift off! (almost)

Well, I am excited to be blogging again about my travels! It's been over 6 months since I went to Poland, which is hard to believe, and I definitely feel the itch to get on another 8.5 hour flight across the Atlantic.

This trip will be 14 days and consist of a 3 day event in Munich (Transport Logistic trade show - one of the largest in Europe), followed by a whirlwind tour of several branch offices: Munich, Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Caen and ending in Paris. I will be travelling with my European marketing coordinator, Sophie, who speaks 3 languages and has lived all over the world. I know that I am in good hands. :)

This week has been absolutely nuts preparing for two weeks being gone: cooking and freezing food for the husband and kiddos, delegating projects & prepping for all my office meetings, shopping for necessities, freaking out cause I forgot many important things, shopping again, and finally packing about 1.5 hours before leaving. Alfredo thinks I'm crazy, but I have to make several checklists just to keep my chaotic life in order. I think I had at least 4 checklists for this trip. :)

Despite the odds, I did make it on time and was able to enjoy a quick meal and figure out how to track my suitcase on the new Delta app (love it!). I also snagged economy comfort class seating at the last minute - row 11, with lots of leg room!

Right now, I am waiting with a bunch of chilled out folks who are speaking Dutch. I feel like I'm in Amsterdam already. :)

See you on the Dutch side!

Ps. For those airplane aficianados, I am flying on Airbus tonight, not Boeing, but I can't tell the difference at all. Sorry Boeing.

Hey...I love check lists too...when your trying to coordinate a ton of stuff they make you feel like you have some control over the situation. :)
